lookin for an all-in-one device
« on: October 18, 2001, 07:19:00 AM »

I been lookin around but can't find all the features I want in one device so lookin for input or ideas.

What I want:
- mp3 player w/headphone jack
- digital wallet functions (internal hdd to suck data off cf/mmc/etc cards)
- cf/sm slot (or pcmcia and adaptors)
- ebook reader (supports pdf also)
- replacable batteries

What I don't want:
- laptop
- PDA (iPAQ or what not) cause they got small suckie displays
- something larger then a good size paperback
- something that costs as much as a laptop (has to be <$400)

So far the best I found is the franklin ebookman but it is limited by 64meg mmc cards and does not have the digital wallet functions.

ideas???
