Return to Castle Wolfenstein is a blast!
I got my mom's boyfriend hooked on the single player as soon as i loaded it. The multi rocks, with only limited maps being its weak point.
By far the best thing to happen to the Quake3 engine.

cut my gaming teeth on wolfenstein, was so please to see it on the shelf today when I waled into Comp USA. can it be fresh? or is it just another Quake? after wolfenstein/Doom/heritic/Hexin/Quake/halflife/unreal. does the new version have anything new to offer?

this is the coolest game i've ever played!
TONS of plusses... graphics, story, movement, all a+
soldiers have slight varations to thier uniform and head so that it doesn't seem like you're killing the same soldier over and over.
tracers and richoche's (spelling?) are really cool!
multiplayer maps have bullets and bombs flying and tons of non player created sound effects. seems like you're really in a warzone. :)
the movement of the people is very nice! sometimes when you cap a nazi on a balcony or steps, they'll fall over the railing or down the stairs. first game i've ever seen that it.

only minuses are very minor.. mostly the minuses for me are little things that i've seen in other FPS's that i've liked but are not implimented like draging bodies, climbing fences, moving boxes, opening footlockers... why not impliment opening footlockers? there are tons of them around. also, more stuff should break. why are lightbulbs are bullet proof? "say what you want about those nazi's being bad but ... they make a strong lightbulb!" ;)

only gripe that's kinda big is the chat menu for multiplayer. too cumbersom. they may be a way to change that... i haven't read the book yet. (ha ha) just got the game last night and there were more important things to do than read the book (like kill nazi's) he he he

overall.. AWESOME game!!!!
and it couldn't have happend to a better game. the game that started it all! :)

Must be nice, for those of us with dial-up who don't have the time to d/l 100+MB for a trial and 500+MB for full version, someone needs to send me a.. So that I could try it.

You will soon be surprised to learn that your personal hell is actually quite similar, in more ways than you'll care to admit, to the Christian conception of hell.

new years eve.
8 computers in my living room and dining room.

4 vs 4 wolfenstien.
it was very cool!!!! :)

the chicks made us stop at midnight to say happy new years and toast and stuff for a couple of minutes but except for that we played from 8pm to 6am. :)

{edit - i almost forgot, we did take a quick break to play multiplayer motocross madness 2 for about an hour but other than that.. all wolfenstien}

the beach and destruction were the best ones! destruction was probably the overall funnest.
