« on: March 06, 2008, 03:13:48 PM »

i'm definitely buying one to try out next time i need a case
sadly, i already have more cases than i do rooms in my house. i wear cases like clothes. i need to stop buying them

(begin sales pitch)
no, i'm not related to nzxt in any way, i'm just a happy customer who bought a similar tower case from them and love its cooling and rock solid construction

(I managed to snag one when it price was cut massively)
(end sales pitch)

If that case was full-ATX instead of uATX, I'd be whipping out the debit card.

What I really want to see is a "super-desktop"-- about 25% taller than the desktop cases out there, so it can stock as many drive bays (10) as a typical mid-tower, and a 120mm rear exhaust.

I've always thought that the desktop layout might be a bit better for convection-cooling video cards (no heat trapped underneath the card)

The closest I've seen are some "towers you can sort of convert to a 5U rackmount" cases, but they tend to have the optical drives at unusable positions as a desktop.

Should the fact one of the rails broke on my Ark SR-8100 justify getting a new case?
