Well, to put it another way, it's not a matter of needing another power supply, it's a matter of wanting to use this one as a second for all the accessories in the case just because I have room and I think it's kind of cool looking.  I disabled the buzzer, and everything seems to be running fine.  I plan on using 2 PSU's, and will either use this one or wire (using a relay) an older at supply to me on work  so it will turn on with the computer.  I plan on using it to trigger a relay to turn on the H2o pump as well.

As I mentioned before, that's not a particularly good idea.  That buzzer might mean that the power supply has become unstable due to a missing load on one of its rails.  If that is the case, it is possible that after time it could burn up.  When I say burn up, I mean burn up in a very literal sense, probably frying everything connected to it.

i thought the avatar looked like x24

What's with people confusing me with someone else?  First i7dude thinks I'm Linear and now Firespark thinks I'm x24.

<nevermind>

dude.

 It might not be compleatly practicle, but it would be nice to mod up and use as the primary PSU. I have a 500 watt PSU and I probabbly only use half of it. I have only one CCFL and 2 case fans so the cut in power might not be an issue. But being that these units are so small I wonder how they handle surge, no real monster caps like my Antec Blue. Rack mounts have HDD but keep them spinning so surge from that is small issue and racks dont sport 2 to 3 CDROMs like most PC's

Electricity is cheap where I live, cost is about $2.00 a day for the entire 2100Sf house.

Mod it up.

Don't take it apart or disable the buzzer - what you have is a good PSU, and an expensive one most likely.  Redundant PSUs start at about $200 new, and someone might be very happy to have that for a small server.
Either 1) use it as is or 2) sell it to someone who wants redundancy and has low power requirements

By the way, if you manage to make it
burn up in a very literal sense, probably frying everything connected to it.
I will be absolutely amazed
