Ok...Take Steel wool or something to it, im using alot of bondo on my front of the chieftecdragon case prjecty im doing, and that bondo is ghey, use two coats of bondo, and then use fine grit sandpaper or,prime once, sand with 1000-2000grit sandpaper and go again...
My dad does alot of car body work too so he helped me out a bit there

here's a few suggestions on bondo.    the holes are air bubbles.  try not to whip it into a froth when you mix it.  granted, you need to work quickly on that, but bear it in mind.   also, when you spread it on, push down on the spreader.  your pics made it look like to applied it like cake frosting.   also, if you are doing an irregular surface, like it appears you are doing, it is worth the time to make a custom spreader.  use a contour gauge to duplicate what you are trying to do, then copy it onto a piece of cardboard, cut that out, and copy it onto your plastic spreader.  this was a trick i learned for repairing wood moldings in houses, especially old ones, in preparation for painting.
and lastly, there are two kinds of automotive primer.  get the high-build variety which is red/rust colored.   it will fill in alot of small imperfections.

Thanx for the advice. I got it smoothed out, i was using broken jig saw blade to spread it, thats why there were ribs. I found out that the holes were from dried chunks of bondo. Im at the University of Michigan right now, so i wont be getting all that much done on the project. Ill update when i can.

Looks cool to me, but I don't exactly follow how this is going to come together.
