Dual Monitors...Worth it???

Depends what you want to do too. If you're just web surfing and playing games, dual monitors will not only be a waste of time, but eat up desk/wall space.

If you're into heavy development though, dual monitors are invaluable. Having the IDE on one screen, and the program/debuger on the other is soooo nice. If you're into graphics/video editing it's also extremely helpful.

I disagree. I think its great to fill the two monitors with multiple browsers. Not to mention that its pretty cool to surf the internet on one monitor while winamp plays with a full screen graphic visualization on the other.
works great if your into photoshop too.

i agree with Gix multiple monitors rock with pretty much everything. i was running 3 monitors for a while (geforce 4 ti4600 running 2 and a geforce 4 mx 420 pci card) it looked sweet, but took up to much desk space so im only running 2 now.
