Flicker Question

im running a Generic GeForce 2 MX 400 wich ive had along time. my Question is sometimes my Screen will Go black Come back on after 1 sec or 2 and my pc has froze does thta sound liek a video problem. Im thinking it is the video card is well over 2 heres old

have you overclocked... not enough power for your system... low vcore? maybe bad video card i would try another video card in your system and see if it removes the problem.. if so its a video card problem

its only a Geforce 2 Mx 400 64 Mbso its junk i was using it for my FileServer Pc then my ti 4600 got snapped in half due to moving to another case and my daughter got to it. but anyways. i think its the video cause everything is new in this opc and the card is alittle over 2 years old imma try a new card hopefully in a few weeks

Try lowering your refresh rate. It may be set to high for the GF2 and that will cause problems.
