Here I used my craftsman rotary tool, brother of the Dremel, and began removing the plastic area below where the "jewel" once sat. I had the RPMs at 5K so I melted thru the plastic like buttah. Slower speeds are recommended for smoother cuts but, patience is not one of my virtues.
