Amazing what a little cooling improvement can do...
« on: December 22, 2002, 02:51:23 AM »

I put togeater a bunch of old computer stuff i had to make a lan box out of, and before i did all that i pryed the little heat plate off of the AMD k6-2 500. WIth the thermal goop right on the die with the hsf over it, instead of reading the usual 500 on startup it now reads 506, which is cool cause the board is made to have a maximum of 500mhz, the settings are as far as they will go so i cant over clock it :(. Oh well, every little bit counts ;)
