their prices dropped about 9 dollars.  i wonder why they keep fluctuating every other week.

Because they own and operate the factory.  So they can move priced up and down entirely dependent on factory conditions.  They dont keep a lot of stock on hand either, so that contributes.

Welcome to the world of computers, almost everyshop I know does not carry a large stock of parts. Because the prices change almost weekly on almost everything.

A 256mb stick fo pc2100 used to be $83, now it's down to $66. YaY for teh buyers :)

Its a very volitile business pricewise. I remember back in the day of pc-100 when the price jumped to 200$ for 128mb. Then a month later it was 120 or something, then 98$ and then i got some more. Now its only 24 bucks at my local shop for 256 of it. I hope DDR only gets cheaper, esspecially pc-2100  ;)

Yea prices change almost every day with computers, b/c the newest and better are always coming out! me i find when the next computer show is, check ot prices b/f i leave for it and go there and get good prices.......

Ram prices have started to come down dramaticly over the last few weeks.  I recently contacted one of my suppliers who sells really nice SDram, and was surprised when he offered me some CAS 2 512mb SDram PC-133's at $36 each.  Needless to say I snapped them up and some DDR PC-2100's at $45 each with Samsung chips.  At those kind of prices i was able to pass the savings on to my customers for the Christmas computers I was building which made them happy.

256meg sticks of crucial pc2100 are now $56 :o

Damnit I bought when they were 59, I didnt think it would go any lower. =/   :idiot:
