Thermoelectric Device??

I was at some guys page who used one of these cooler devices on some project he was making:

Anyone have any experience with using them in your pc? You could overclock to infinity with these things!

they are also called peltiers, they use up alot of juice tho. ive seen these used in cunjunction with watercooling kits, because they act as a kind of heat pump, it draws heat from one side to the other, therefore, one side is really really cold while the other side is really really hot, its good cooling, as long as you use the right side on your cpu!

Methinks we just enjoy discussing it and getting live (kinda) feedback on stuff...and about the peltiers, one of the local kids who frequented our lan parties had a few peltiers running on a seperate power supply (out of a f00kd Emachine or something), and he used it as an alternative radiator...cooling a metal water reservoir so condensation wasnt an issue with direct application to the cpu.
