« on: October 22, 2002, 02:00:00 PM »

I wanted to get a 30 decible fan, but they dont have one where i found my 80-120mm adapter, so I have to get a 34 decible fan...how much difference does this make?

dB

every 10 doubles the sound level, so that is about 40% louder.

Not quiet enough for me. I prefer 25db or lower, and even then I run the fans at 5-7V. Not to mention the accoustic tests the run on these yield rather conservative numbers.
