ok, i don't know of how much use this is, but... i found WHITE LED's for 3.99 a piece plus shipping. http://www.caseetc.com/cgi-bin/caseetc/EC-213.html

don't know what you would want a white led for, but you never know, maybe an opitical mouse mod?

i'm going to use them... i have a cool desk with a spot for my computer... so when i open the door the whites turn on so i can see around...

i just figured out what i can use white ones for, keyboard light. my gf is always complaining that i have the light on, so if i put led's in my keyboard i can turn off the light. :D

i got it, back light my keyboard. put a bunch of leds behind the keys and then they glow around, that would be nifty, have to use really small LEDs though. make some cheap ass red one that a .1 inch by .1 inch. those are like 5 cents a piece. hmm.... got to find the design book.

but that would be too easy, and draw too much current. i have a wireless keyboard so i would have to add batteries to it as it is. i don't want to have to add 8 AA batteries to get the 12 volts to run the thing. LED's operate at lower voltages and use less amps, so i wouldn't have to change batteries so much.
