its actualy not a bad idea but that has been out for months now, not exactly new... lol I like it maybe I will buy me one, my xp 1800 is running a 1.8ghz at 2.2v so it must be bad for it when I turn it off, I have a temp probe on it and it never rises after I turn it off but it would be nice if it would get colder faster...

A 2 degree temperature difference (between the unprotected system and the PDP one) isn't that much.
