Unless if you run them in RAID 0 :)

I just did a fresh Win2K install on a PC that I build from stuff I had lying around. 911 meg used, and that's with a couple of small applications. Also, if I recall correctly, Win2K takes up more space than past Windows OSes. So no, a fresh install does not take 1.5 gig. Not sure about XP, though. I'm still trying my best to stay the hell away from it.

yo yo i had a 80gb since my b-day and i filled it up to the max i have 3mb left so i think i kinda need more space oh yea best buy f*cking sucks for comp parts but if you work there it RULES_____written naked before i got a job there_____
