i knoe i saw this answer sumwhere else in the forums but i tired looking for it again and couldn't find it.  if i wanted to swtich my HDD lite to a blue one.. which size, volt LED do i need and do i need a resistor? and basiclly i juss cut the tip of the orange part and solder the new one on right?

ummm. well. ummm. the cutting thing. im good at cutting. ok what you want to do is just below the orange part, cut there. make sure the wires are seperate. and i think you want a 3 volt. and the size should match the size of the old one.
