pics?  Hmm I think I can do that, but It'll have to wait until I finish cutting my two side intakes.  And shizno I didn't actually get a case for free, he offered to refund some money on the steel case and not send out the aluminum one.  He emailed me asking why I gave bad feedback when he offered to refund a little bit of my money and I told him one thing: "respect can't be bought, it must be earned".  Sending the wrong case is ok, but changing what I wrote about his company is something that won't ever give me respect for his company.

Oh and I luckily still had the metal drive bay covers (the pain in the neck ones you need to snap off) from the steel case.  I weighed one of them against one of the aluminum ones and the steel one weighs 1.7oz, while the aluminum one weighs 0.6oz!  With my keen math skills that tells me that this case is almost 3 times lighter than the steel one...I love it :)

PICS! :D

Welp there she is :).  I still need to do some fan installation, put a handle on, light up the fans, light up the front, and maybe paint.  I was originally planning on painting it DEEP DEEP green, but actually the yellow isn't as bad as I previously thought...I'll have to figure out what I want to do later.

Are you gonna go all yellow with this case?  yellow CCFL, yellow LEDs, yellow belly?

yellow belly? eh?  well I don't know yet...I'm all torn because I don't know if I want to paint yet or not.  My original plan was dark green with green lighting, but this yellow doesn't look so bad after all.  The only dilemma now is if I want to light it yellow or another color.  Purple is such a cool color, but I don't know how well purple lit fans would go with a yellow case :).  Whaddya think?

yes, I've painted the insides of my case.

if you'd like some more responses, may I suggest you ask OUTSIDE of this thread...it's call thread-jacking ;)

So maybe post about it in the case modding forum. just a thought.

purple and yellow would be hella ghetto in my opinion, but my opinion is just that, mine.

id say yellow case, bloo or red lighting.

purple is a womans color....ewww i hate purple.  i found a like....24oz can of dupont paint that my dad had custom painted his car with....its like a yellow/fading orange on thin spots....it looks very much like this car's paint..  (my dad asked that car owner what he mixed and it came out pretty similar at the shop)

purple is actually the color of royalty. :P

maybe you dont like it, but that dont mean its a womans color.
i know more straight, hetero men who like purple than women and gay men combined who like purple.

im gonna paint a case in multi shades of purple, just for you shizno :)
