measure 8 times, measure again, double check that measurement, and then cut.

get the right tools, because it makes it nice and easy.

check out the stores you wouldnt think have stuff for computers, and keep your mind open.  sometimes you find some pretty cool modding materials in the most random places.

take your time, be safe, and dont get all mad if you make a mistake, just try to work around it... :)

and above all else, have fun, because if you arent having fun modding your case, then maybe you shouldnt be modding your case? ;)

One thing to remember is that it is your computer you are modding so there is never a stupid idea.

Any idea can be done if you put enough effort and yime into working it out.

It wouldn't be your case if it wasn't your ideas now would it?

oh and when overclocking no one can just tell you what you are going to be able to overclock your chip to. It will take trial and error and a lot of effort on your part.

thanks arc for that tidbit on o/c :P

also, I highly suggest watching where your wires are...I've shorted out my psu like five times......in ten minutes by not paying attention :P

ALSO...always check your connections!! ALWAYS....hell, I've been on a long distance call to cali or something, on hold for 30 minutes, I get to the techie finally, and then I checked the connections.....guess what? it was a loose wire...

Im like CRAP! i let in to dry ith the sun. So i bought 2 more cans to recoat and guess what TODAY! IT HAPPEND AGIAN WHEN everything was done (i was about to kill myself). So i went to ACE hardware and got me some krayon paint (it is good!!) I will most likely have my case done Saterday (its my first.) but i have to make the wireing and circt for optical wires it will write my name A R T U R
it may take a wile still got to get some parts. but then for the lighting i have to wait for the stuff to ship and the etched window. i will have that some @ the latest on 7/17/02. come back later to see the crappy paint and my case

-double check your connections
-wear proper safety equipment, goggles and gloves are usually a good idea.
-ask if your not sure, people may wonder why you ask a question thats been covered before, but im sure no one here wants to see any one else waste their money on a preventable mistake.
-help when you can, and listen to those who try to help, a good attitude makes the world go round.
