Neon Lights
« on: August 05, 2001, 02:16:00 AM »

I have started to build my own computer and i bought all the lastest hardware
AMD Athlon 1200
ELSA GLADIAC 920 (Geforce 3)
Sound Blaster live platinum 5.1
ect..............
also i ordered a case window and a sound sensative liquid neon light.
The neon light looks really cool with the liquid glow and the case really shines but........ The neon light is about 15+ inches and takes up alot of space.. the only place that it would fit in my case was under the power supply and almost popping out of a drive bay....... and it is taking up 2 drive bay slots and with a cd drive and the sound blaster i have not more slots to add stuff.... i was wondering if anyone thinks it is worth to keep the neon light or just get a smaller one cuase it looks really kool and i dont know what to do
thx
Jon

Thought of trying the flexable neon lights? Wrap them around your window and fans and attach to the case via epoxy.

I am pondering over those, but they are a little high priced and I have not seen any that are sound sensative.

Angle the neon on the bottom of the case.

As for the EL lights (flexible neon cable) they would work, but they aren't very bright.  The sound sensitive liquid neons aren't that bright either, tho.

I personally use a CC (cold cathode) light, and it's brighter than hell.
