Dual Wan Router
« on: March 21, 2012, 05:36:26 PM »

The internet in the city where I live is unreliable enough I'm considering moving just to have more reliable internet. In the meantime I'm looking into a multiple ISP solution with an automatic redundancy for when the main ISP fails.

As I understand it this means I should get a Dual-WAN router. Does anyone have recommendations? I'm currently running a nice Tomato firmware Single-WAN router, but am willing to give that up for more reliable internet.

Seems like you can enable the feature in certain routers supported by dd-wrt.

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Dual_WAN_with_failover

Just google dd-wrt dual wan...
