HP Wireless Comfort Mouse LED light
« on: July 15, 2010, 07:21:01 AM »

Hello friends.
I recently purchased HP Wireless Comfort Mouse from Tech Depot through http://www.dealrocker.com discount deal and wondering if anyone else is using this mouse. I want the blue LED light on top of the mouse stay on all the time. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

the led has to have a point... is it there to tell you when you are connected/powered on/ dpi settings???

I mean you would have to crack the device open, find a solid power lead and tap from that, but that would make the led useless as an indicator for whatever it, well indicates!

The way wireless mice works is that they turn most of their electronics off when not being used. Turning on something (even something as low powered as an LED) all of the time will drain the battery much quicker.
