Unless you have a really big a$$ hand that thing is tiny.  Back in the day when I was installing you'd be luck to fit a head unit in place of that mobo.  Your making me want one more all the time.  I can't wait to see this thing done.

P.S.  I've got plenty of hate to go around  :D

make sure you secure everything well (like that cpu cooler)... you're going to be hitting lots of bumps. it looks like you'll be using the standard cpu cooler, of which my clamps broke while sitting still...

I never really considered that the CPU cooler could break.  I did use a desktop PC as the basis for a carputer before, but it was Pentium 3 based and the heatsink used a metal clip.  Guess I'll just watch out for issues.

Nope, I have normal sized hands.  The Accord has tons of space behind the dash there.  My old Saturn didn't have nearly as much space back there.  This thing will still take a while to complete as the bottom piece is the easy part in my opinion.  Where I'm putting the screen will likely take more time to properly build.

Not to nit-pick, but the front might look better if the wood grain went the same direction on both of your panels.  If you're going to paint it, no biggie.  If you're not painting,  it will look better if you align them.

I was covering the front with wood mainly because it makes it a lot easier to fill with Bondo later on if there is a backing.

LOL.  Then make sure the bondo grain all goes the same way.  Sorry, I'm in a smart a$$ mood today.

Spent most of today doing flooring at a friend's house, but I did manage a little time to modify a PSU of mine.  It's not complete either, but it's closer to what I need in order to operate the carputer indoors.  The PSU itself is just an older 300W piece of crap that was in my closet collecting dust.

And here you go Wonko, I really need some more hate.  Here's me testing the steering wheel controls using my laptop: Link to video.

Notice that the Centrafuse interface changes (I'm changing them off screen on the steering wheel) and that the head unit updates with the track number.

That's so very cool.  How much would it run to set something like that up?  I really think my truck needs a computer.
