Blackberry Question
« on: October 26, 2009, 04:32:50 PM »

I didn't know where else to post this. but i was wondering if you geeks had any idea.. I've had no luck googling.

I have a Blackberry 8320 (Curve). I got it from a friend when he had no use for it.. I have no dataplan or cell plan that can use it.. I wanted to use it basically as a small mobile PC.. When in Wi-Fi area be able to IM or Googletalk.  I've updated the phone so it's current on all it's software as of 3 days ago. It dosen't even have a sim card it that helps at all. It's been a useful PDA.

Thanks!

*Edit*
It's a T-mobile version too

Google says the only app that can use WiFi on the 8320 is the Browser.  Does the browser work for you?  If so, you might be able to use a webapp for gTalk or IM.
