I finally ditched my 8 year old 17" flat CRT.  Someone at my wife's work was selling a 22" HP HD monitor for $150 and I said, hell why not.  I've been waiting for the damn CRT to die already so I would have a reason to buy me a 24 incher.  At least my wife's in a we-should-buy-a-bigger-tv mood recently.  She's starting to feel like our 40" isn't big enough anymore.

I spent the first 4 hours on it trying to look for a nice 1080 wallpaper.

Stop lying, you weren't looking for "wallpaper".

There's some things that are better not viewed in HD, like "wallpaper".

My father still uses my old 17" CRT, which is also about to die.
