The fan design looks exactly the same on that 9600GSO as my 8800gt. If so, god help your ears.

Maybe you'll get lucky and you can control the fan's via software. Unlike me.

Ok, card is in and installed. Everything feels a bit snappier than before, even down to just browsing a long web page.

I had an Iceberg5 on my old 6600GT and the stock fan on this 9600GSO sounds like it so I'm used to the noise.

Frys is weird, no email of any kind of tracking but it showed up 3 days via ground from CA->NY.

For $50, awesomes!
