Umm, the method is pretty much up to you.  But here's a thread in our own forums about it:

well then to start off with im using a dell GX270 with a P4 3.0, 512 ram, 40gig hardrive, onboard graphics sound etc. It was a small form factor computer so the psu is nice n slim along with the dvd-rom that i picked up for 300 bucks a few months ago so i think its a good computer to use. i havnt purchased the monitor yet but im thinking something along the lines of a 15 or 17 inch lcd. what ever i can find thats cheap.  thats all i really have to report on at the moment but i will keep you guys upto date as best i can.

Wow, very nice.  I'm thinking about building a new system.  Been a few years.
