psu Cable Sleeving Only one question one unanswered
« on: November 11, 2008, 01:34:56 AM »

i have read lots of Cable Sleeving guides and i have only one  question to be answered. how do you put the pins back in all the connectors ??? all the guides go in to detail  about sleeving and removing the connectors. then they say just put the wires back in and your done. well how is it done i dont want to make my psu unusable if you know what i mean.

Thanks for your time

On the pins they have little wings that you bend in when you take them out, before you put them back in the connectors you have to bend the wings back out. Once you take them out, you'll see exactly what I mean.

I also highly recomend getting a pin remover for molex connections. It makes it so much easier.

No, you kind of have to hope that they stay at least partially out, I don't know of any secret.
