Good Old Games
« on: October 25, 2008, 12:28:20 AM »

Good Old Games is out of beta finally! For those of you not in the know, its an awesome service (I was in beta) that allows you to purchase old PC games for cheap and they have been made to work on modern (windows) operating systems. The website and software work marvelously well, and come with extras like soundtracks and strategy guides.

PS: no DRM, download as many times as you want. Woo!

Hah! they have Descent!  That game was badass back in the day!  Not a bad idea for a website.  Hope it works out for them.

I didn't see them, but I wish they would get some of the old SIM games to work. Like Sim Tower and such.  As of right now I think you have to use an emulator or something to get those to work on XP or higher machines.
