so since i moved my wonderful buffalo whr-hp-g54 with dd-wrt on it has been in a box in my bedroom, never got around to putting it back in, since there was already a linksys here. well now, the linksys is doing what the pile (4 of them) all had done, slowly slowing everything down and being generally annoying. when i normally get 6-8mbps connection, and a simple page like google takes seven thousand hours to load, you know theres an issue. so i finally got around to plugging my buffalo back in, and much to my absolute horror, the lights just flashed once and then nothing else. after plugging it in a few more times and hitting the reset button, nothing happens when i plug it in anymore. apparently they dont sell it anymore and even on **** its like $130 for a new one, which is way more than i want to spend. so im looking for a new one, its gotta support dd-wrt (yes i know where the list of supported devices is, but it has no mention of a rating on quality or anything). so if any of you have a suggestion on a new good (hopefully cheap) router for me to get and put dd-wrt on id appreciate it. and hopefully it doesnt slow down to zero speed before i get a new one, or at least the suggestions ;-)
