HELP trying to make a projector out of a Portable DVDplayer
« on: March 02, 2008, 11:18:06 PM »

 :x
OK I want to make a homemade projector To play my XBOX and the like, I know how to build it, but I dont know how to modify the Portable dvd player to accept incoming video.

Here are the details:
Durabrand portable DVD player MODEL # PVS1371

RCA outputs (the red yellow and white jacks)
Widescreen and normal screen modes on the LCD panel

I read somewhere that you can remove the dvd codec chip and solder a RCA video cable to a transistor on the board itself. or could I reverse the output signal to the RCA's to an input terminal?

This is driving me absolutly nuts... please offer any help.
