mobile phone / flickr question
« on: January 03, 2008, 06:51:37 PM »

i just picked up a new camera / phone
sony ericsson k850i
5MP!

i take pictures at the full resolution, but when i upload them to flickr via the email thingy, they turn out to be only 1024x768
thoughts?

is it because of cingular somehow? is it because of flickr? is it because of the phone's email client?

phone>cingular>gmail>flickr

You should check out Picasa's online album. I'm not sure that they have a limit to individual photo sizes.

thats odd, you're right... i wonder when they started doing that, because i have always had larger images on there in the past :(

oh well, i was going to get a pro account soon anyways.

i tried picasa a few times and hated its usability each time, so they lost me forever. besides, i dont know anyone else that uses picasa but i have tons of flickr friends, and there aren't website coding options anywhere like there are with the flickr api.
