overclock GPU help
« on: July 20, 2007, 06:23:58 AM »

Hey, my mate has been trying to OC a 7300gt (i know, why bother eh) its more for him to get a feel to OCing on a useless card, so then take some skills learnt and apply that to his new rig.

he has tried using all the usual programs, from nVidia's own OC tool, ntune.  he tried rivaTuner, and even ATItools.

the OC works, but the frequencies get reset to default when he reboots the PC.

any ideas on how he can get the OC to stay after a reboot?

im sposed to be helping him :P but im outta ideas.  so... any ideas?

I would DL coolbits 2.0 .

This should work up to the 7XXX set of cards and has worked on my 7900 GS & GT cards
