whats the story, is it being renovated or razed. and in some of the pics is part of the building missing?
the story is that this isnt just a theater. it is a whole mall, that was closed for tax reasons. and now it is open so you can get in. I wanna get a few peeps together so we can all go in and do some real recon and get a plan on treasure.

how long ago was it closed? taking a couple of ppl along would problay be a good idea, esp if it has been open like that for long. decrepit malls are havens for crackheads, mentaly disturbed vagrants and zombies. realisticaly though, you probaly couldnt tell the differance.

If we found out what movies were on those film strips, you could probably estimate the closure within a month or two.

My first thought was this is aftermath of hurricane Katrina.

Amazing that in all the pictures this place looks compleatly trashed except this picture, looks like it could have been installed yesterday.

Wonder what kinda power those transformers can put out?

Is that the bush river mall? the way you described it that sounds like it. If that's the case then I'll just have to go down there and check it out, haven't really been there since it closed (it had a movie theater there). The skaters use that as a park now. Also if it is it, it's about 1 minute away from where I live  =)
