Sorry to come in late.

You have to get the EXACT F, the rated V can be equal or higher, but NEVER lower.
Clear? ;)

I did.  I actually got the exact uF, exact size, and exact voltage.  I went ahead and ordered
7 of them to replace all of the ones on my board.  My friend up the street that works at
Raytheon was kind enough to give me an old soldering iron that's better than the one I
already have so I could do the job better.  It's cool because on this one I can actually
change the damn tips.

I just got the confirmation e-mail today...

I can't believe this crap!  I ordered $8.40 worth of stuff and I have to pay
$22.20 when it gets here!?  That's bullsh*t!  I'm now officially broke.

I got my capacitors the day before yesterday.  I had to go pick them up at the post
office because my brother was too damn lazy to answer the door.  Because of that, I
had to pay an extra $0.90.  I'm getting sick of his dumbass.  But anyway, I will solder
them tomorrow sometime and let everyone know how it goes.

OK, so far I installed the new capacitors.  (7 large ones)

Now, I am going to put together a system and see what happens when I boot it
up and install an operating system.  I'll be back with the results.

I booted it up and it's working!!!

At first, the onboard video had snowy-looking lines going through the screen.  I
turned the system off and installed a 16MB AGP videocard and after that, the
system was fine.  I now have Windows 2000 installed on it and I also installed
the free version of SiSoft Sandra and ran a complete burn-in test on the whole
system.  The test went well with no errors (except the one about no floppy drive
because I didn't have one installed)  After that, I turned the system off and took
out the AGP card and hooked the monitor back to the onboard video because I
wanted to give it one more try.  I turned it on and now it also works!  I guess the
motherboard just had to get used to the new capacitors for a little while.  That's
my only guess as to why the onboard video decided to work.

I am a beginner at doing major soldering like this, and it worked for me!  I recommend
anyone to do this to their motherboard if they have any symptoms listed on this site:  www.BadCaps.net
