Review: Lian Li PC-V2100 Full Tower

Quote
Having a four hard drives and two optical drives is a dilemna for many. Not only is it a cramp fit into most mid-towers, a wiring nightmare and makes for a hot case. With that in mind, I went on a search for a new full tower. The Lian Li PC-V2100 silver full tower aluminum case stuck out for it's sheer size, let's see if it can deliver after we test it out.

I have the V2000b, which is the same other than the sound muffling floormats, and the front cover. If you are looking for a good full tower, and have some cash I'd recommend these.

Be prepared to buy some super long IDE/SATA cables though. Gid will tell you why.

It still seems like a lot of money for what you get.  With a regular-sized 10-bay aluminium case selling for like $100-- sometimes well less, you could buy two, remove the mobo tray of one for better clearance, and do a double-wide with similar expandability potential and shorter cable runs.

I will admit the finish looks nice, but again, for $300 it should.
