I've been going nuts trying to stick a piece of metal to a piece of plastic...  Someone suggested "Gorilla Glue", but I tried it and it came apart without any effort...

Does anyone know of anything else I can use?

Original JB, RTV Silicone, self tapping screw, nut & bolt (washers optional), wad of used chewing gum, yelling at it, double sided tape, and velcro are good choices.

Good ole fashioned epoxy should do the trick. Just make sure both of your surfaces are sanded down with very coarse sand paper first.

epoxy or this stuff called e600 works for me (gules EVERYTHING but looks a little messy if not done right)

Just make sure you don't get epoxy that will eat through plastic. I'm not sure there are epoxies that will so that, but I seem to remember people at my old job talking about epoxy that would eat through certain surfaces on skis.

Epoxy is definitely the way to go. Just check to make sure it's safe on plastic first.
