Very nice. But the price might hamper its sales. None the less, The "true blue" color and somewhat subdued brightness are what I find attractive about it. Im going to start counting pennies I think.

I like those. :B  If I had carpet in my PC, those would be a must.  I have too many lights though, those would be kind of drowned out.  But they look so neat.  Do they give off that high-pitched squeel that some EL lights do?

I have that same brand in my rig.  No noise at all.  The color is real pure too.  Not bright, if you want bright add neon.  I think if you apply this to right job they work real well.  The right job for EL is ancent light not brightness.  I put purple neon in my case and it did just what said, Naomi, drowned out the EL.  I think I'll move the el to the front for acent so I can follow my own advice.

BTW more colors availible at http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/fun-stuff/5752.shtml">ThnkGeek

these are super quiet. I took an inverter apart and they are sealed in a thick rubber. to me they dont make any noise at all.

Hey, I just got my EL tape prize from the contest and I don't know what to do with them.  Any suggestions?  I was thinking of having it run around my HSF.
