the stand that comes with the lcd is really cool, it goes up and does and pivots.  too bad i won't be using this for anything.  any ideas?

Cup holder.....

looking good, i like the lcd idea, this is gonne look pretty nice.  did you consider a sheet of acrylic above the computer?  for protective purposes, it will also give you a place to use the mouse and keyboard if your in a tight space.  what you gonna do for fans and venting? can you give an example of you layout of the internal parts?.  any ccfl or leds?  cant waite for more pics.

i forgot to mention that i will be using a blue led fan as well as a blue ccfl.  i'm not quite sure where they will go, but i have some ideas.  i was already going to put a sheet of 1/4" lexan over the computer because i didn't want stuff falling onto the parts.  in the lexan i was going to put vents for the hsf and the psu as well as the blue led fan.

Is that 200 Watt PSU gonna have enough balls to handle the CCFL and all the essential hardware?

I say put the CCFL above mobo by the hinges.  Have it above the IO panel area and mebbe put a strip of metal to hide the CCFL and the LCD power supply.  You could also etch something on the underside of the lexan.

the psu will be fine.  i only have the cd-rv/dvd drive, hdd and mobo that have to be powered as well as the fan and ccfl.  i'm not worried about it.

i don't think i'm going to etch anything yet because i'm not to good with the ol' dremel.  i think it will look cool enough.

you'd definetly want an intake somewhere, even with the vents IMO.

One should do.
