i've never heard of actiontech.  i don't think i would buy that only because i already have a network and i don't know much about them.

as far as the product, it looks alright and probably works decently.

on a side note, don't buy the modem in this picture (RCA) it is a horrible product.

RE: Modem
modnut, it's not that bad... the modem was "assigned" to me by my broadband provider.

RE: WEP settings
They really need to upgrade their PC Card firmware so that the PC Card can properly communicate with a WEP-enabled network. The "other" wireless adapter I was talking about was a Linksys (802.11b USB) -- it didn't have any probs finding the Access Point after plugging in the WEP settings... >.<
