SCSI Raid Question...
« on: April 01, 2002, 12:18:00 AM »

ok, after reading another question on a raid aray I had one question.  So, I was thinking about using a cheetah lp73 and an X15, since they are different sizes(quite different) there is no reasonable way to use them in a raid aray? If so, I actually might be able to get my grubby little hands on another LP73, if so, and I decided to run all 3, what would be the best set-up performance wise?

fastest data access is striping. basically your repeating the same data across 3 drives or more. its a sort of hard drive multi-tasking
