That's kinda what I did, I used rubber washers to support it stacked on some 3 inch screws. I attached it to the bottom of the case with DS tape because I was jut experimenting with it.

I wish I had some shots of MBM before and after. It really did help the case temp by about 2-3 degrees.  I guess it helps move the hot air from the bottom to the top of the case through the cables more efficiently.

hehe..I was thinking a simialr idea of a bottom blowhole, but I was actually gonna MAKE a blowhole...so I'd have a hole sucking air from under my case....and since I got the antec case, it's about 3/4" off the ground cuz of the nifty feet! :D

These are defiantely very good ideas, and it is possible I could make that happen.  To answer X24's question earlier, I am a "one-man-gang" and I'm sure you can imagine that between almost 30 stores worldwide that I have to keep stocked, product development, manufacturing, packaging and shipping, AND I have a wife and 10 yr old, I can't and don't have the time to deal with peeps directly.  I have no plans to become 'retail'.  I would rather focus on creating kick-ass products and allowing all my retail buddies to make their living also.  Everyone wins.  However, I do have the time to sponsor giveaways when I can.

All we need to do now is come up with some guidelines for the giveaway.

i put a bottom blowhole in my q500, the problem is it sux in every bit of dust around.

my idea stems around 2 problems: 1) the front case fan isnt very efficient and most of the effect is lost if your mobo is more than 4 inches from it. so my solution was to put 2 instake fans on the side of the case to get air movement or you  could use tweakmonsters bracket to mount 2 fans over the mobo. 2) there is a dead spot of air movement in the center "channel" of the case. if you have a blow hole and match it up with a fan blowing air to it, you create a negative air pressure zone that would pull air from the drives. and by having this "blowing" fan inside the case, it takes the existing intake air and  puts it to use and doesnt introduce any additional dust.

as far as a giveaway, you can get some free graphics work done in exchange for it. have badge made or a sales banner or something that you dont have time to do.  there are some good photoshop artists lurking within this forum.  Or if you have everything done having a giveaway of your not yet released products would give you a lot of free advertising as other sites pick up all the news from GT
