Gideontech.com RC-5
« on: July 31, 2001, 11:59:00 PM »

Thought I would recreate this thread again since we can't transfer over our old forums :( .

Anyway, we have a new person on board out GT team  jakeblues@respawn.com, welcome to the team!

Our stats package can be found here: http://stats.distributed.net/rc5-64/tmsummary.php3?team=85018528

as of yesterday we were doing a key rate of 16,768 Kkeys/second.  This should increase a bit when I get all my computers up and running.  we are currently in 2699 place and we passed 7 teams. For yesterday our team was ranked #907 out of all the teams.  Pretty good!  But we can do better.

Soon (hopefully tom.) we will have a guide that covers everything from downloading to installing and configuring the client.

Soon as I get an AC assist blower installed in my computer room at home I could be talked into leavin a system on and running some cycles....

As it stands the front room I use for puters sits at ~85F even tho the rest of the house is ~78-79F.

yeah, my room is on the second floor, and even with central air (its crappy on the second level) my room is regualerly 28 C.  But one nice thing is that my computer desk sits ontop of the vent, and all the cold air drifts over too my case so it keeps a nice cool temp :)
