http://www.tcaep.co.uk/science/index.htm

The above link is about a site containing science related data in general but contains sub links to electronic symbols information, formule needed and other stuff such as constants.  I would apriciate it if some guys and girls could add more links that provide excellent information for beginners and experts alike.

http://www.electronics2000.com/page2.html

I've learned quite a bit from this page, very good reference.
There are a few projects as well, and some links to ciruit databases.

Easiest to read resistor table I've seen

minnick007: I think what I wrote is even better than your resistor's link. And it's even a sticky of this section.

http://www.iguanalabs.com/

Contains a small and simple tutorial.

http://ece.eng.mcmaster.ca/faculty/deen/course/2ei4/Course_Notes.html

Contains electronics course notes that can be downloaded in pdf format.  Sorry, never had the time to check all downloads.

http://www.web-ee.com/primers/Tutorials.htm

Contains links to other tutorials, look quite good, also has a section about circuits and projects.
