Need help finding a IC
« on: August 26, 2003, 09:33:05 PM »

I came across a cool mod awhile back and i wanna use the same idea just moddify it a little.

http://www.metku.net/index.html?sect=view&n=1&path=mods/vilkkuvalot2/index_eng

In the mod he uses a 4017 IC that counts up to 10 then cycles back to 1, well i need one that only counts to 2
anyone know which IC does that?

That 4017 IC is a decade counter.  not sure though if it can be programmed to count less than 10 like you need.  But, a 4029, as used here by Viridius, is "programmed" to count only up to 4.  Maybe you can make it do 2 only as you need.

Wire Q2 to Reset.
Leave without connection Q3 up to Q9
