I am wondering if anyone have used a watercooler like this 4 a WC setup ?



I have one at work that we donīt use, so i got the idee to try to use it as a watercooler, but i know i have seen a POST here with a guy that used a similar watercooler but i canīt find it  :(

So if anyone can find that post or got some tips/trix on HOW TO make this setup possible i woullb be happy  :D

I don't know much about those type of watercoolers.  Rip it apart to see what type of system it has in there.  We could help alot more if we knew what we were dealing with exactly.

This is the ONLY info i can find on the web, i hope it can sheed some light on things, i talked with a guy on another forum and he told me that it can cool 70w ? here is what he wrote

"2.3l/h = 0.00064l/s there /\T is 22.2K -> 0.00064 * 22.2 * 4180 = 59.3W Thatīs not enough to cool a LOAD of 70W"

i know someone on another forum that used a water cooler like that to run watercooling. I cant remember much, but tomorrow ill see if i can drag a link up for you.

I bought a shell of a cooler and a bottle to mod, but I figured it would be best to use standard w/c equipment rather than gamble on the cooler equipment.  Next mod to come... motherboard in a bottle.
