ooops, ambiguous post, take the black wire from the fan and attach to red wire... I htink, from PSU red is 5v, I'd double check first.

example from an electronics class, real example from real college course  , imagine cliffs, the ground, 0v, is the ground and 12v is a 12ft cliff, you have a distance of 12ft from cliff to ground, if there's another 5ft cliff below the 12ft and you go from 12 to 5 the distance is 7ft... ehhh, my professor explained it better, not that it's a hard analogy, you get the point.

Do you guys think that if i put a thick gasket, i  will be able to get a bit more air flow since the gasket will act like a fan shroud?

fan attached to the rad attached to the case, it'll help get rid of the dead spot in the middle of the fan.  It might be hard to find a grommet that works, I know my BiX isn't round so a grommet wouldn't  work well there.

"fan attached to the rad attached to the case, it'll help get rid of the dead spot in the middle of the fan. It might be hard to find a grommet that works, I know my BiX isn't round so a grommet wouldn't work well there. "

I already found a gasket about 8 by 8 inches and I can cut it up and all.
But the problem is that with the BIX, it's 1.69" width so if I add a shroud = 1.5" + gaskets  = "0.32" + the 120 * 32mm fan, the total width goes over 4.5 inches. In my case, i can only have 4inches off space before the mb starts and all the cables are there. Any ideas of what I can do?
