New Cooling Products From Zalman
« on: July 28, 2003, 08:59:21 PM »

I just saw this thread at Bit-Tech with pics of upcoming products from Zalman.

The heatpipe HD cooler is kinda wild, but that graphics card cooler with the fan is great!

The GPU cooler looks promising, my only consideration is that it looks like that fan would be positioned right behind my side intake fan.

You can get the parts at Newegg right now:

VGA Fan $10

VGA Cooler $30

HDD Cooler $30

And the rest is at NewEgg too.

Interesting setup for that fan, here's the spec page from Zalman:

Check out that special connector!

Just thought I would add, here is a review for the HDD cooler from bit-tech, looks like it is on par with the CoolDrive3

And here is a bit-tech review of the VGA cooler with fan.

I wish someone would do a review of the ZM80C-HP on a Radeon 9700 Pro and give some useful temps. I'd also like to see what issues people run into without the ability to use RAMsinks when overclocking. The cooler looks nice, but no RAMsinks, and loosing all those PCI bays...

I bet the new D-Tek White Water GPU block would probably cost the same and perform a whole lot better.
