[?] Quick Memory Cooling Kit Help
« on: July 21, 2003, 08:17:22 PM »

I just got a memory cooling hit from thermaltake, its the passive one. there was a capacitor in the way of the heatsink on the chip so i had to take it off and cut some of the heatsink. my mom told me to put saran wrap on the thermal tape sh*t so it wont lose its stickiness. well the saran wrap is now permantly stuck to the thermal tape so i need something to reattach the heatsink to the RAM. what should i use, and price doesnt matter because since my mom is the one that told me to use saran wrap shes paying for the new stuff. like artic silver or something? or does that not work for this kinda thing?
