pretty sweet huh?  lot of tinkering to do if you don't have the pcb...

That's pretty cool.  I think what he did there was instead of using a timer circuit for the PWM setup, he used the signals from the parallel port and did the modulation via software (on/off at a certain pace).  Very simple yet functional.  This is one of those "why didn't I think of that" kind of stuff.

yah, i found it on the mbm5 homepage...

when i was looking for the vb source for the shared memory module controls :P  and we all know why i want that!  now i just need to find out how to send to the parallel port...  hmm....
