Mounting a super G phase cooler on a socket A mobo
« on: June 08, 2003, 10:32:51 PM »

I just traded my ipaq for a an old super G unit, I'm trying to think of a creative way to mount it in or on my chieftec case. I was thinking about putting it on top of the case but I had a more creative notion the other day, I saw the price of these chieftec cases at xtremeoc and for 50 dollars I think I might want to buy a second case and bolt it on to my first one. that would give me plenty of room for putting the unit inside and I think It would be a pretty original mod. The biggest problem I'm having is trying to figure out how to mount this cooler on my cpu. it was originally designed for a slot system so its going to be hard as hell to keep condensation from forming and dripping all over that new video card of mine. Any thoughts?
